Thinking of you cards to our patients

All of our volunteers are invited to join the group in writing cards every month to our patients. This activity is to let our patients know they are thought of not only today but every day! The next card writing dates are Thursday March 8^th at 10:00 a.m., April 2^nd at 1:00 p.m. and then Tuesday May 15^th at 10 a.m. For these set dates we will meet at the Hope Hospice office in Rochester.


Our new location is open in Logansport. We will be meeting to write cards to our south patients on Tuesday March 6^th at 10 a.m., Friday April 13^th at 10 a.m. and Thursday May 17^th at 10 a.m.

As always, these card writings are a wonderful time to see one another and send blessings to all of our patients.

2011 Volunteer Christmas Luncheon

This year we had our 2011 volunteer Christmas luncheon at the Fulton  Co. Public Library in Rochester.  At the noon luncheon June Kramer was selected by the Hope Hospice volunteers to receive the 2012 Hope Hospice Service Award.
June has been an active volunteer at Hope Hospice since August 2007.  Very rarely is there an evnet or volunteer project that she is not able to attend.  She truly enjoys her time with her patients, the tender heart that she shows each and every one of her lady's whether it's taking them a flower for the season, bringing in her little K-9 Angel for all to visit with or just popping in to say "hello".  June has a huge heart, loads of compassion and it shows everywhere she goes.  June is a wonderful example of a volunteer who has made Hope Hospice the caring organization it is today.  Congratulations, June!

Volunteer Training In Rochester

Volunteer Training for Rochester will start Monday February 27th
Classes will be as followed
Monday February 27th
Friday March 2nd
Monday March 5th

Monday March 12th
Friday March 16th
Classes will be held at the Fulton County Public Library in meeting room A, Class times will be 1 p.m to 4 p.m (not all classes will be the whole 3 hrs)
