This year's Hope Hospice Service Award Winner, Libby Working,
with Hope Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, Wendy Reinartz.

This year's Hope Hospice Service Award Winner has been an active volunteer at Hope Hospice for a short time.  Within this short time she has been a breath of fresh air to, not just the patient, but the Hope Hospice staff, volunteers and to the family members of her patients.  Knowing they can count on her for many hours for routine Friday visits, being able to notice when a family is struggling and is in need of more support and education about heir loved one's dying process or popping in to say, "Hello."  She can almost always strike up a conversation about recipes and being a farmer's wife.  She shows compassion, and has proven she has a love and dedication for the patients and their families she volunteers for.  Libby is a wonderful example of the type of volunteer that has made Hope Hspice the caring organization we are known for.  It is my honor and privilege to award the 2013 Hope Hospice Service Award to Libby Working.                                                                       Wendy Reinartz
